Park Ju-young: Genius or Overrated?
Commentators in South Korea are talking a lot about Park Ju-young these days. The 21-year-old from FC Seoul has been hailed a genuis by some, but as his recent performance with the national team has shown he still has a long way to go. To be honest, Park played like a donkey during the Red Devils’ overseas tour. He did not look strong on the ball and he did not seem to understand his role in coach Dick Advocaat’s system. To his credit, he worked hard and he didn’t let his poor play keep him from giving a good effort, but I was not impressed. The good news is that he is still young and he is still talented. He’ll improve his strength and now that he knows the level of competition internationally, he should work harder to get to the point where he lives up to the label of genius.
