Mexico Friendly Ends 41-day Road Trip
February 13th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »
After spending 41 days in their overseas training camp, South Korea’s players are about ready to head home to land of quality kimchi. But first there is a friendly to be played against Mexico later this week in Los Angeles. It should be a stern task for South Korea. who is coming off a 1-0 defeat against Costa Rica. Mexico qualified for the World Cup and will be playing in front of a large, supportive crowd.
In other news, coach Dick Advocaat returned home to the Netherlands after learning that his mother-in-law passed away. We certainly wish Mr. Advocaat all the best and hope that the team can dedicate a win in his honor later this week.
