During the 2002 WC, there was much consternation as to the lack of ticket sales for most of the games, one of the original reasons why FIFA had reservations about hosting the games in Asia. And here’s an article which talks about how well-used the stadiums have been since then.

All the games involving Korea were sold out. Everything else was within reach.
