Advocaat says ‘Nyet’ to Russia Rumours
February 10th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »
South Korea coach Dick Advocaat has denied rumors that he has signed on the become Russia’s next coach following the World Cup this summer. Says the Dutchman: “That’s a rumour. Everyone knows that my contract with the Korea Football Association ends when the World Cup ends. Such a thing leads to these kinds of rumours and will do so in the future.”
Of course, it is worth noting that Advocaat did not deny that he might someday become the coach of Russia. A crafty move on his part.
