Advocaat Can Eat Well in South Korea
February 21st, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »
There is a story today that South Korea coach Dick Advocaat took a pay cut when he left the United Arab Emirates to coach South Korea. The Dutchman isn’t doing too poorly for himself, making an estimated $720,000 for seven months of work. Included in this is $7,000 for food. This will buy you quite a bit of kimchi and Happy Meals. Even with these perks, Advocaat still earns less than his predecessor Guus Hiddink who raked in $1 million when he led South Korea in 2002 and less than he made at UAE where he was paid $2.2 million per year.
